CSIRO, Marvell Strike Deal In Wireless LAN Patent Feud

Law360, New York (May 21, 2010, 1:47 PM EDT) -- Marvell Semiconductor Inc. and Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization have agreed to settle a patent suit over computer chips used to run wireless local area networks.

The parties notified the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas of the settlement in a motion Tuesday.

Though the parties agreed on a settlement during mediation, they are still finalizing the formal agreement, the motion said.

Attorneys for CSIRO and for Marvell could not immediately be reached for comment.
