AG Holder May Challenge Arizona Immigration Law

Law360, New York (May 26, 2010, 6:11 PM EDT) -- Attorney General Eric Holder is considering taking action on Arizona's newly passed immigration bill, according to police chiefs who met with him in Washington, D.C., for an hour Wednesday morning to express their misgivings about the controversial law.

Holder did not, however, give the chiefs an indication of the possible shape of a federal legal challenge to the law, which penalizes employers who hire undocumented workers and mandates that Arizona police arrest suspected illegal immigrants.
