Marsh Seeks To Toss Aon's Trade Secrets Suit

Law360, New York (May 27, 2010, 7:19 PM EDT) -- Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. has moved to toss the sole remaining claim of an Aon Corp. unit's suit accusing the insurer and three former Aon employees of raiding its computers for trade secrets and poaching clients from its trade-credit insurance business.

Aon's claim under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act cannot survive because the employees had ample freedom to use company computers, Marsh said in a motion to dismiss filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
