Knowles Didn't Show Irreparable Harm In Mic Case: ITC

Law360, New York (June 1, 2010, 4:57 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has ruled that an administrative law judge's denial of Knowles Electronics LLC's bid for an injunction in a patent infringement fight over silicon microphone packages was proper, and that the company also failed to show irreparable harm at the hands of a rival.

The ITC decision was published in the Federal Register on Thursday and marked a second procedural victory for respondent Analog Devices Inc., which competes with Knowles in the multimillion-dollar market for microphones.
