Law360, New York (June 01, 2010, 7:11 PM ET) -- Consol Energy Inc. has reached a $75 million settlement with Yukon Pocahontas Coal Co. and related entities in their lawsuit challenging Consol's right to transfer untreated water from a Virginia mine to nearby mines.
The deal will resolve litigation in the Circuit Court of Buchanan County, Va., and all related legal and environmental proceedings, including several arbitration proceedings, Consol said in a filing Tuesday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
