Gristede's Wage Plaintiffs Win Nod For $3.5M Deal

Law360, New York (June 01, 2010, 6:55 PM ET) -- A judge has given a preliminary nod to a $3.5 million settlement in a suit alleging grocer Gristede’s Operating Corp. failed to pay workers proper overtime wages, cautioning counsel that there could be objections to bonuses for lead plaintiffs.

Judge Paul A. Crotty told attorneys Tuesday in the U.S. Court for the Southern District of New York that he planned to file an order allowing the parties to move forward with the settlement proceedings.
