Novell Fights Ruling For Vigilant In Unix Defense Suit

Law360, New York (June 2, 2010, 4:59 PM EDT) -- Novell Inc. has appealed a ruling that let Vigilant Insurance Co. off the hook for defense costs in the software company's epic intellectual property fight with The SCO Group Inc. over the rights to the Unix operating system.

Novell filed its notice of appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit on Tuesday.
