Waitstaff at NYC's Barolo Get Cert. In FLSA Action

Law360, New York (June 4, 2010, 9:04 AM EDT) -- Servers at upscale New York City Italian eatery Barolo have won conditional class certification in a lawsuit accusing the restaurant of misappropriating tips and failing to pay minimum wage.

Judge Colleen McMahon issued an order conditionally certifying the proposed class of Barolo waiters, bartenders, runners and other waitstaff in an order Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
