Green Groups Appeal Toss Of NJ River Cleanup Suit

Law360, New York (June 4, 2010, 3:14 PM EDT) -- Two advocacy groups have appealed the dismissal of a lawsuit seeking to force lead pigment maker NL Industries Inc. and others to remove heavy metal contamination from the Raritan River.

A notice of appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit was lodged Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on behalf of plaintiffs Raritan Baykeeper Inc. and Edison Wetlands Association Inc.
