La. Judge Sells Oil Co. Bonds To Avoid Recusal

Law360, New York (June 4, 2010, 5:40 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in the Eastern District of Louisiana has sold bonds he owns in Halliburton Co. and Transocean Ltd. entities to quell speculation about whether he would have to recuse himself from cases involving the Deepwater Horizon rig disaster.
