La. Official Says BP Wanted To Limit Oil's Visibility

Law360, New York (June 10, 2010, 11:18 AM EDT) -- BP PLC adopted an "out of sight, out of mind" strategy when it decided to use chemical dispersants to keep millions of gallons of crude oil spewing from the sea floor from moving to the surface of the Gulf of Mexico, a top Louisiana wildlife official told a U.S. House of Representatives panel Thursday.
