Judge OKs Tribune Disclosure Statement

Law360, New York (June 7, 2010, 5:50 PM EDT) -- The Tribune Co. can send its reorganization plan to creditors for a vote, a judge said Monday, paving the way for the company to leave bankruptcy protection in the hands of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and other lenders.

Judge Kevin J. Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware approved the company's disclosure statement Monday, saying voting must conclude July 30.
