DOL Wants To Speed Up Peabody Mine Proceedings

Law360, New York (June 07, 2010, 7:19 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Labor said Monday that it was seeking to expedite legal proceedings over alleged safety violations at a Peabody Energy Corp. coal mine out of concern that the southern Illinois mine continues to expose miners to dangerous conditions.
