Ex-Apple VP Tries To Dodge Smartphone Subpoena

Law360, New York (June 9, 2010, 5:38 PM EDT) -- A former Apple Inc. executive vice president has asked an administrative law judge at the U.S. International Trade Commission to block a subpoena from Nokia Corp. asking him to produce source code for certain Apple software.

In a motion filed Monday, Tevanian said the subpoena — which asks Tevanian to produce source code for the Mach and NextStep programs — was overly broad, sought irrelevant information and would require “disclosure of information regarding persons or entities to which Mr. Tevanian has an obligation of confidentiality.”...
