Law360, New York (June 09, 2010, 7:37 PM ET) -- A federal appeals court has rejected a bid by lawyers for Chevron Corp. to lift a stay in a filmmaker's battle to keep hours of footage shot for the documentary “Crude” out of the hands of the oil company.
A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit said Tuesday that a stay in the case would remain in effect until otherwise ordered by the panel assigned to hear the merits of the appeal.
