Law360, New York (July 07, 2010, 10:55 AM ET) -- 2009 was a poor year for M&A activity, particularly so in Europe. What’s more, while the final quarter of 2009 was seen at the time as the beginning of the recovery of the global economy, the year to date in 2010 has shown that final period as somewhat more of a blip. Unfortunately, the low volume of deals looks like it’s here to stay in Europe — at least for the near future.
