Dell Settles In Inventor's Online Security Patent Row

Law360, New York (June 15, 2010, 4:01 PM ET) -- Dell Inc. has resolved its part in a suit brought by inventor Leon Stambler accusing a broad range of companies of infringing two patents related to secure online transactions.

Judge David Folsom of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Tuesday dismissed all claims and counterclaims between the parties with prejudice.

The two have “resolved their differences,” they said in a joint motion to dismiss filed Monday, though they did not indicate whether they had reached a settlement.
