Newspaper Delivery Drivers Lose Bid For Class Status

Law360, New York (June 17, 2010, 12:50 PM ET) -- Drivers for nationwide newspaper distributor Publishers Circulation Fulfillment Inc. have lost a bid for class certification in their lawsuit accusing the company of misclassifying them as independent contractors and making unlawful wage deductions.

Judge Lewis A. Kaplan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York denied the plaintiffs' motion for class certification Wednesday.
