Vita-Mix Hit With $11M Verdict In Blender Patent Suit

Law360, New York (June 21, 2010, 5:03 PM EDT) -- A federal jury in Utah has ordered Vita-Mix Corp. to pay about $11 million to rival K-Tec Inc. for selling five-wall blenders that infringe two patents, with one attorney calling it the largest patent infringement award in the state in several years.
