Exxon Hit With $11M Suit Over Massive Gas Leak

Law360, New York (June 22, 2010, 3:22 PM EDT) -- A former Exxon Mobil Corp. gas station in Maryland that was the site of a 26,000-gallon gas leak has accused the oil giant of concealing widespread problems with its leak detection equipment and wants $11 million in damages for fraud and breach of contract.

Exxon on Friday removed the suit, filed by the gas station's operator Storto Enterprises Inc., from a circuit court in Baltimore County, Md., to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
