Softspikes Wins Bid To Nix Golf Cleat Inventor's IP Suit

Law360, New York (June 23, 2010, 5:35 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has tossed a golf cleat inventor's patent infringement, trade secrets misappropriation and breach of contract suit against Softspikes LLC, citing a lack of jurisdiction to hear the claims.

Judge Rya W. Zobel of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts granted Softspikes and parent company Pride Manufacturing Inc.'s motion to dismiss inventor John J.
