Synology Exits ITC Case Over Samsung Flash Patents

Law360, New York (June 23, 2010, 1:03 PM EDT) -- Network storage device maker Synology Inc. has agreed to stop importing devices that allegedly infringe two flash memory patents assigned to Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. in exchange for its dismissal from an ongoing investigation in the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Samsung filed a motion with the ITC on Tuesday to terminate the investigation as to Synology, saying that the parties had signed a consent order.
