Fed. Circ. Sends Hip Replacement Patent Suit To Ind.

Law360, New York (June 24, 2010, 6:51 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has transferred a patent infringement suit against orthopedic device maker Zimmer Holdings Inc. over hip and shoulder replacement products out of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, finding that the plaintiff's connection to the state was “a legal fiction.”
