Law Firm Settles Second Harassment Case

Law360, New York (February 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A small, Queens-based law firm has agreed to offer training to employees about sexual harassment, retain an independent monitor to ensure compliance, and not to rehire the man accused of befouling a female co-worker's phone receiver with semen.

The deal marks the second time Rappaport Hertz Cherson & Rosenthal PC has entered into a consent decree to resolve sexual harassment charges leveled by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission since December 2003.
