SanDisk Hit With Antitrust Suit Over Flash Memory

Law360, New York (June 28, 2010, 4:42 PM EDT) -- Ritz Camera & Image LLC has filed a putative class action against SanDisk Corp. for allegedly using false patents to maintain a monopoly on flash memory.

SanDisk has controlled the worldwide production of flash memory cards in phones, cameras, computers and other devices by obtaining fraudulent patents, according to a complaint filed on Thursday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
