Bayer To Pursue IP Row Over Teva's Gianvi In Nev.

Law360, New York (June 29, 2010, 2:53 PM EDT) -- Bayer Schering Pharma AG has dropped one of its patent infringement suits against Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. over a generic version of birth control pill Yaz, opting to pursue claims against the Israeli generics maker in a Nevada federal court.

Bayer filed a notice of voluntary dismissal without prejudice Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. The Yaz maker will instead press its case against Teva in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, where related cases are also pending...
