Ky. Payment Processor Sued For Sexual Harassment

Law360, New York (June 30, 2010, 3:15 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has sued a Kentucky payment processing company on behalf of a putative class of female workers who say they were sexually harassed by a superior.

Ashland, Ky.-based Merchant Management Systems Inc. violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by discriminating against employees based on sex and subjecting them to sexual harassment and constructive discharge, the EEOC alleged in a complaint filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
