Ex-CFO Hits PBS&J With Retaliation Charge

Law360, New York (February 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Former PBS&J Corp. CFO W. Scott DeLoach, who is awaiting sentencing after embezzling millions, has accused his former employer of taking a hard line against him as retaliation after he blew the whistle on the company’s illegal political contributions.

DeLoach and two other former employees, Maria Garcia and Rosario Licata, pled guilty in September to charges that they engaged in a long-term scheme to embezzle more than $35 million from PBS&J. DeLoach was responsible for stealing at least $18 million.
