Law360, New York (July 02, 2010, 1:40 PM ET) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed a $15 million arbitration award granted to Greensboro, N.C., for damage stemming from a contract dispute with a construction company and its insurer over delays at a wastewater treatment facility.
The three-judge panel in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit on Thursday rejected all the arguments made by MCI Constructors LLC, hired for the construction project, and by its performance bond issuer, National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh.
