'Fly' Must Pay Atty Fees In Barclays 'Hot News' Spat

Law360, New York (July 2, 2010, 1:39 PM EDT) -- A judge has ordered financial news website theflyonthewall.com to pay $200,000 to Barclays Capital Inc. and Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. for attorneys' fees stemming from a copyright infringement suit against the site over its posting of the banks' reports and suggestions.

Judge Denise Cote of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York issued an order Wednesday that established $200,000 as the cost of “reasonable attorneys' fees” for the banks.
