Law360, New York (February 02, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Apple Inc. said Friday that U.S. government officials have asked for more information and documents as they dig deeper into the software company’s past stock options activities.
In a joint effort, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California served Apple with an informal request after the Cupertino, Calif.-based company revealed the findings from an internal investigation into its stock options grants to executives, according to Apple’s filing with the SEC.
