EU Eyes Google Over Web Search Antitrust Claims

Law360, New York (July 7, 2010, 12:16 PM EDT) -- The European Commission, which previously asked Google Inc. to respond to antitrust allegations, is in the early stages of "very carefully" probing claims of anti-competitive activities in the online search market, Competition Commissioner Joaquin Almunia confirmed Wednesday.
