Sony Slapped With Patent Suit Over LCD Panels

Law360, New York (July 07, 2010, 2:24 PM ET) -- Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Chimei Innolux Corp. has accused Sony Corp. of infringing a patent portfolio covering liquid crystal display panels.

CMI lodged its complaint Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, alleging that Sony has been involved in the unlicensed manufacture, repair, use, importation and sale of LCD televisions and monitors.
