9th Circ. Nixes CAFA Sanction For DLA, Bradley Arant

Law360, New York (July 7, 2010, 2:54 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court panel has overturned sanctions that would have forced DLA Piper, Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP and four individual attorneys to file a copy of the sanctions order each time they or their client — mobile-data service provider Motricity Inc. — removed an action to state court under the Class Action Fairness Act.
