Jury Awards Don Johnson $23.2M For 'Nash Bridges'

Law360, New York (July 7, 2010, 7:07 PM EDT) -- A California jury on Wednesday awarded actor Don Johnson $23.2 million for his work on “Nash Bridges” and gave him a half-stake in the syndicated television show's future profits, ending a breach of contract suit against Johnson's co-producer.

The verdict in the Los Angeles County Superior Court will allow Johnson reap potentially millions more from his show, which is now syndicated in 40 countries.

Johnson starred in the CBS police drama from March 1996 until it ended its run in May 2001.
