Nokia, Others Face 337 Probe Over Imaging Patents

Law360, New York (July 8, 2010, 4:14 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission said Thursday it would begin a Section 337 investigation into claims by FlashPoint Technology Inc. that smartphone manufacturers Nokia Corp., Research In Motion Ltd. and LG Electronics Inc. have infringed three digital imaging patents.

The investigation was prompted by an amended complaint filed by FlashPoint in June seeking an exclusion order and a cease-and-desist order against the respondents.
