Recalled Ford Workers File Class Action Over Seniority

Law360, New York (July 9, 2010, 5:43 PM EDT) -- Ford Motor Co. has been hit with a proposed class action on behalf of about 80 union workers who lost their seniority rights after being recalled to work at the automaker's transmission plant in Batavia, Ohio, in 2007.

Sam Spicer and Nick Wilson filed the suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, claiming that Ford violated the Labor Management Relations Act in denying them full-time status.
