Consumers Target J&J Over Children's Drug Recalls

Law360, New York (July 12, 2010, 11:59 AM EDT) -- Johnson & Johnson has been hit with five putative class actions from consumers alleging the world's largest health products company committed fraud and racketeering in its manufacture of several recently recalled children's medicines.

The suits, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, are seeking cash for payments the proposed classes made for children's and infants' forms of Tylenol, Motrin, Zyrtec and Benadryl, which were subject to a recall in April.
