Zoll Hits Philips With Patent Suit Over Defibrillators

Law360, New York (July 13, 2010, 5:22 PM EDT) -- Less than a month after a Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV unit alleged that Zoll Medical Corp.'s defibrillator products infringed the company's patents, Zoll has shot back with its own complaint against Philips' defibrillators.

The complaint, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, alleges that defibrillators from Philips Electronics North America Corp., the Dutch electronics manufacturer's North American division, infringe five of Zoll's patents.
