Law360, New York (July 20, 2010, 4:46 PM ET) -- Elpida Memory Inc. has become the latest defendant to settle Ring Technology of Texas LLC’s wide-ranging infringement suit over a patent covering a method for improved computer memory access.
Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas dismissed the claims against Japan-based Elpida and its U.S. affiliate on Thursday, approving a settlement agreement the parties hammered out in June.
