Suit Claims Seacor Fireboats Caused Gulf Well Damage

Law360, New York (July 16, 2010, 4:26 PM EDT) -- In a new twist in the Deepwater Horizon litigation maelstrom, Gulf Coast plaintiffs have launched a purported class action alleging it was firefighting boats owned by Seacor Holdings Inc. units and others that caused the rig to sink and damage the oil well.

Terry G. Robin and several other individuals filed their complaint against the vessel operators on behalf of three prospective classes in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana on Wednesday.
