AOL, EarthLink Win Bid To Block Testimony

Law360, New York (February 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a mutual victory for Time Warner Inc. and EarthLink Inc., a federal judge has blocked expert testimony that would have bolstered dual patent infringement suits against the rival Internet service providers.

In a ruling issued Feb. 5 in Delaware District Court, Magistrate Judge Mary Pat Thynge granted a motion filed jointly by EarthLink and Time Warner’s AOL unit to scrap infringement testimony proposed by plaintiff Inline Connection Corp.
