Novartis Wins Punitive Damages Ruling In Aredia Suits

Law360, New York (July 19, 2010, 5:37 PM ET) -- Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. has won its bid to apply New Jersey law to the plaintiffs' claims for punitive damages in two product liability suits accusing the drugmaker of failing to adequately warn that its bone cancer drugs Aredia and Zometa could cause jawbone deterioration.
