House Eyes Patent Reform

Law360, New York (February 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- U.S. legislators have renewed their push to update U.S. intellectual property laws with an oversight hearing on patent reform scheduled for next week, according to the House Judiciary Committee.

Set for Feb. 15, the hearing is the first step toward a new reform bill and will allow new members of the House IP Subcommittee to get up-to-date on the complex topic, according to Committee spokesperson Shauna Winters
