Samsung, Sharp, Others Sued Over DVD Players

Law360, New York (July 22, 2010, 2:45 PM EDT) -- Over two dozen electronics manufacturers and retailers — including Panasonic Corp. of North America, Samsung Electronics America Inc. and Best Buy Co. Inc. — have been accused of infringing two patents covering menu selection features on DVD players.

Patent Harbor LLC filed suit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, accusing the defendants of infringing two patents titled “Apparatus and method for assembling content addressable video.”
