Lannett Sues Over FDA Morphine Warning Letter

Inc. has filed suit over a U.S. Food and Drug Administration warning letter that demanded it get approval for a more than 150-year-old version of morphine, saying the agency has wrongly labeled the drug “new” and unfairly given Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH the only license to make it.
