Plaintiffs Atty Appeals Ban From AWP Cases

Law360, New York (July 23, 2010, 5:23 PM EDT) -- Embattled plaintiffs attorney Donald Haviland of Haviland Hughes LLC has asked a federal appeals court to review an order barring him from serving as class counsel in any federal litigation involving challenges to average wholesale price drug schemes.

Haviland filed his notice of appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit on Thursday, after U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts Judge Patti Saris took issue with his clients' sudden withdrawal as class representatives in consolidated AWP litigation.
