Suit Claims P&G Falsely Marked Downy, Fixodent

Law360, New York (July 29, 2010, 3:14 PM EDT) -- The Procter & Gamble Co. has been accused of marking its Ultra Downy fabric softener, Fixodent denture cream and Always maxi pads with expired patents.

Alchemy Asset Services Inc. filed an amended complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, targeting three of the household products giant's most popular items.

The original complaint, filed in May, claimed that P&G had also falsely marked its Puffs facial tissues with an expired patent.
