Del. Title Insurers Dodge Price-Fixing Class Action

Law360, New York (July 30, 2010, 3:14 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has thrown out a putative class action accusing over a dozen Delaware title insurers of price-fixing, ruling that the plaintiffs' claims are barred by the McCarran-Ferguson Act.

Judge Stewart Dalzell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware dismissed with prejudice the antitrust lawsuit against the members of the Delaware Title Insurance Rating Bureau and their parent companies Thursday.
