Ironclad Files Suit Over Duties On Mechanics' Gloves

Law360, New York (July 30, 2010, 1:45 PM EDT) -- Performance glove maker Ironclad Performance Wear Corp. has lodged a new complaint against U.S. Customs and Border Protection, claiming the agency misclassified imported mechanics' gloves, forcing it to overpay in duties.

The complaint, filed in the U.S. Court of International Trade Thursday by attorney Ralph Sheppard of Meeks Sheppard Leo & Pillsbury, came 18 months after the company filed its initial summons.
